THE PHYSICS PLAYBOOK / ADVANCED PRACTICE
NoomiClone Tips: Swing Higher, Release on Time
NoomiClone is a physics playground on a bar: you arch, tuck and let go. These tips help you practice the browser version without inventing features the game does not have.
Tip 1: Focus the game before pressing keys
Open the homepage player and click inside the game area first. The keyboard controls — left arrow to arch, Space to tuck, up arrow to release, R to reset — only work while the game has focus.
Tip 2: Change one variable at a time
Repeat the same input sequence, then change only one thing: the moment you release, or how long you hold tuck. Comparing attempts becomes much easier when a single choice changes.
Tip 3: Watch the arch and tuck positions
Before adding another input, watch where the character is. Arching and tucking change the body shape during the swing; noticing the difference is the fastest way to understand the physics.
Tip 4: Treat release timing as the experiment
Letting go too early or too late changes where you travel. Make release timing your main experiment and reset with R between attempts.
Tip 5: Do not expect features this build lacks
The browser release is the original NoomiClone by jamesnorth. We have not verified a map selector, a re-grab key or mod features for this build. If a video shows a mobile app or a mod, do not assume the browser version has it. See the controls guide and getting started guide for the verified basics.
